Contemporary Upholstered Settee with a Natural Wooden Frame
The MTJ35 upholstered settee combines a softly curved silhouette with the warmth of exposed wooden detailing. Its gently inclined backrest, sloping armrests, and textured neutral upholstery create an inviting appearance without relying on elaborate tufting or oversized cushions.
The design has a distinctive balance between contemporary simplicity and traditional-inspired craftsmanship. Decorative nailhead accents introduce subtle detailing, while the visible wooden base and tapered legs give the settee a light, open appearance.
This combination makes MTJ35 an appealing choice for modern living rooms, bedroom seating corners, and carefully styled reception areas.
Gently Sloping Backrest and Curved Arm Design
One of the most recognizable features of MTJ35 is its continuous upholstered backrest and armrest profile.
The backrest features a relatively straight upper edge, while the side sections gradually slope downward toward the front of the seat. This creates a graceful, gently enclosed seating shape.
The armrests curve inward toward the seating area, giving the settee a softer appearance than conventional furniture with broad rectangular arms.
Unlike heavily tufted designs, the backrest has a smooth upholstered surface that emphasizes the natural fabric texture and clean proportions.
Textured Grey-Beige Upholstery
The reference settee features a muted grey-beige upholstery appearance with a visibly woven texture.
Its neutral shade complements light wooden flooring, cream walls, warm grey interiors, and natural decorative materials.
The fabric texture introduces visual depth without requiring printed patterns or contrasting colors.
A thick, smooth seat cushion extends across the seating area, creating a clean horizontal line beneath the curved backrest.
The combination of textured upholstery and simple cushioning makes MTJ35 suitable for Scandinavian-inspired, transitional, and contemporary interior settings.
Decorative Nailhead Trim Along the Armrests
A distinctive decorative detail of MTJ35 is the nailhead trim following the outer edges of the upholstered armrests.
Small metallic-looking studs create a fine border along the curved side profiles, emphasizing the settee’s shape.
This restrained detailing introduces a subtle traditional influence without overwhelming the minimalist upholstery.
The nailhead accents also create a visual transition between the soft fabric surfaces and the exposed wooden frame.
Exposed Wooden Base and Tapered Legs
The MTJ35 settee features a visible wooden base running beneath the upholstered seat.
Its natural medium-brown wood-toned appearance provides a warm contrast against the lighter fabric.
Slender, slightly tapered wooden legs extend from the base, creating an elevated silhouette that allows the surrounding flooring to remain visible.
The exposed frame gives the furniture a distinctive identity compared with fully upholstered sofas that conceal their structural base.
Kail/Partal Wood Structure with Master Molty Foam
The MTJ35 settee is manufactured using a Kail/Partal wood structure and Master Molty Foam for upholstered cushioning.
These specified materials form part of the furniture’s construction, while the curved arms, textured upholstery, decorative nailhead trim, and exposed wooden base define its visible character.
Customers can discuss suitable fabric selections, upholstery shades, dimensional adjustments, and wooden finishing preferences before production.
An Elegant Seating Option for Different Rooms
The MTJ35 upholstered settee works well as an accent seating piece in a living room, bedroom, dressing area, or quiet reading corner.
Its neutral fabric appearance pairs naturally with wooden side tables, textured rugs, indoor plants, and minimalist decorative accessories.
The exposed wooden frame also coordinates with other natural wood-toned furniture, making it suitable for interiors that combine upholstered and wooden elements.
At Obsession Outlet, MTJ35 is available through made-to-order production, allowing customers to personalize selected details according to their interior requirements.
